Week #6-Bass Lake

Bass Lake has been a second home to me for many years, and in this picture I get to have a little taste of what surrounds the premise. Within the picture I adore the shadows and the effect they have, it gives the impression of cooling off on a hot day and just relaxation. It was the height of the day too and the light hitting the trees also give off different colors from the leaves and then leave patterns on the ground and objects around. With the trees with any light and time of day they can reflect a different feeling and idea for anyone who walked the path leading up to the cabin. The picture shows a contrast of light and dark too from the shadows to the bright spots that the sun is hitting in the background. It is softer compared to the harshness that just pure bright light concentrated on one spot can be and how even the colors of the ground, benches and car can change with something in the way of light or nothing there at all.
